The Early College High School Liaison works closely with campus based early college high schools and instructional deans to facilitate recruitment, admissions, academic planning, learning support, and engagement of ECHS students.

Early college high schools are designed to remove major barriers to postsecondary educational access and success. By providing early, continuous and tuition-free immersion in a college learning environment as part of the high school experience, early college high schools close the financial and resource gaps that prevent many students from attending college. Students who might not otherwise have made the choice to attend college are able to take advantage of the opportunity provided by an early college high school ? becoming part of a college-going culture and earning either an associate's degree or 60 hours of college credit towards a bachelor's degree.  
Facilitate student pathway planning including the coordination of admissions, testing, remediation, registration, orientation and graduation

Monitor student pace and progress

Identify problems/barriers/challenges, develop interventions, and make recommendations for learning or social support

Serve as liaison for OC faculty and high school counselor

Develop, coordinate and deliver educational plan for Success Fridays (strategies for success)

Assist in planning for recruitment, orientation and parent events

Facilitate student engagement on campus as college students

Collaborate with college deans to identify course needs and pairings  
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in marketing, education, or related field. Previous recruitment and advising experience.
