DBJ: BUDGET TRANSFER AUTHORITY

Transfer of funds from the Personal Services account and the Ordinary Maintenance account shall be permitted only by approval of the School Committee. State laws and local ordinances shall be adhered to regarding the transfer of dollars from one account to the other. In managing budgets set up for school units and departments, modifications of these budgets by the principals or responsible person must have the authorization of the Chief Financial Officer.
