Work Session Poland Board of Education held June 5, 2019

A work session of the Poland Board of Education was held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Board of Education.  

President Lavorini called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance

Members present for roll call and answering their names were Dr. Dinopoulos, Mr. Lavorini, Mr. Riddle, Mr. Shovlin and Mrs. Zedaker.  

Information  
* 2018-2019 Scores for Ohio State Tests – Superintendent Janofa shared the preliminary scores for Ohio’s States Tests
* Levy Renewal Schedule – Treasurer Muntean provided the schedule in which district levies may be renewed.

Discussion – Lengthy discussion was held regarding the following topics:
* Facility/Dobbins/Tennis Courts – Plans moving forward for possible renovation/relocation
* Turf and Track – Timeline of project
* Pay to Participate – Possible elimination of pay to participate fees for FY20
* Fee’s Schedule – Fee schedule provided
* Final Forms – Currently 173 registered for usage to begin FY20
* Raptor System - Implemented

   At 9:25 p.m., Mr. Shovlin moved and Mrs. Zedaker seconded with all members present signaling aye to enter into Executive Session to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official and to prepare for, conduct, or review OAPSE collective bargaining matters.

Reconvene and Adjournment 
	At 10:11 p.m., Mr. Riddle moved and Mrs. Zedaker seconded with all members present signaling aye to reconvene and adjourn.
