Ensure content planning among teachers
Principal, Assistant Principal, Coaches, Teachers
Professional development stipends for teachers, instructional coaching support, evidence-based instructional resources, assessment and data-analysis materials, collaborative planning time, and professional learning focused on strengthening Tier I instruction in ELA and Math Resources will support teachers in using student data, implementing effective instructional strategies, providing targeted small-group instruction, and increasing student proficiency in ELA and Math
The activity will be considered accomplished when teachers complete the planned professional development, implement learned strategies in classroom instruction, and demonstrate evidence through lesson plans, classroom observations, student work, and assessment data. Success will also be measured by increased student proficiency in ELA and Math, with progress monitored through i-Ready, formative assessments, and ACAP data.

Model number talks, usage of manipulatives
Principal, Asst. Principal, Math and Reading Coaches, Teachers
To effectively implement model number talks and the use of manipulatives, we will need appropriate math manipulatives (base-ten blocks, counters, number lines, ten frames, and fraction models), visual aids, and grade-level instructional resources Teachers will need professional development on facilitating number talks, modeling mathematical thinking, and using manipulatives to build conceptual understanding Collaborative planning time, instructional coaching, and opportunities to observe effective practices will also be necessary Student progress will be monitored through classroom observations, checks for understanding, and formative assessments to guide instruction and improve mathematical proficiency
To effectively implement goal-setting meetings, assessment preparation, and ACAP sessions, we will need dedicated time for teachers and instructional leaders to analyze student performance data, identify learning gaps, and establish measurable student goals Resources will include ACAP-aligned instructional materials, practice assessments, student data reports, intervention resources, and technology Collaboration among teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators will be essential to plan targeted instruction, provide small-group interventions, and monitor student progress Ongoing data meetings, student goal-setting conferences, and progress monitoring will ensure students are prepared for assessments and demonstrate academic growth
We will know this activity has been accomplished through documented goal-setting meetings, student achievement goals, assessment preparation plans, and completed ACAP readiness sessions. Evidence will include meeting agendas, student data trackers, progress-monitoring reports, formative assessment results, and student work samples. Increased student proficiency on classroom assessments, benchmark assessments, and ACAP results will demonstrate the effectiveness of these efforts. Teachers and instructional leaders will regularly review data, monitor student growth, and adjust instructional strategies to ensure students are making progress toward grade-level proficiency.

Grade Level Planning/ In State and Out of State Pd/ Subs for Planning
Teachers, Principals, and Assistant Principals
To ensure effective content planning among teachers, we will need dedicated grade-level collaborative planning time, funding for in-state and out-of-state professional development, and substitute teachers to provide instructional coverage during planning and training sessions Resources will include curriculum guides, Alabama Course of Study standards, instructional materials, student achievement data, and assessment resources Support from instructional coaches and administrators will be essential to strengthen standards-aligned instruction, share best practices, and develop effective instructional strategies Ongoing PLC meetings, professional learning opportunities, and collaborative planning sessions will ensure consistent, high-quality Tier I instruction that meets the needs of all students
We will know this activity has been accomplished through documented grade-level planning meetings, PLC agendas, collaborative lesson plans, professional development attendance records, and evidence of instructional strategies being implemented in classrooms. Teachers will demonstrate increased collaboration, alignment of instruction to Alabama Course of Study standards, and consistent use of student data to guide instructional decisions. Classroom walkthroughs, instructional coaching feedback, student work samples, and assessment results will provide evidence of improved Tier I instruction and student achievement.
