SY26-27 Priorities Tracker

Published September 22, 2026 · updated quarterly for the Board's quarterly reviews: Dec 1, Mar 2, May 25, Jun 22

The 2026-27 Strategic Plan implementation includes 20 initiatives across the same five priorities, anchored by six Board focus areas: mathematics, SEL and MTSS, students with disabilities, multilingual learners, instructional leadership, and staff support and belonging. These strategic priorities are supported by operational and system improvements captured in the department goals defined by central office operations teams. A total of 131 deliverables represent the activities that will be implemented throughout the year in service of the strategic priorities. For 2026-27, the Board of Education has also set four public superintendent goals, aligned to Year 3 of the strategic plan and the district's key work this year.

Updated quarterly. This page shows the district's SY26-27 work as committed in the Strategic Plan, the Superintendent Goals, and department goals: who leads each piece, when it is due, and when the Board reviews it. It is updated quarterly, when progress goes to the Board at the quarterly reviews on December 1, March 2, May 25, and June 22.

How to read this page. Each of the five Strategic Plan priorities opens to the work beneath it: Strategic Plan initiatives (blue), the superintendent's standalone Goal 2 and Goal 4 commitments (green), and department goals (orange). Most superintendent commitments live inside an initiative or a department goal and are listed on that row as "carries." A star marks one of the eleven initiatives that sit within the six Board focus areas. Each deliverable shows its owner, its due date, and the first Board date on or after it is due; the colored edge shows where the deliverable comes from. Dates. Work in the Board focus areas is reviewed by the Board at the quarterly reviews (December 1, March 2, May 25, June 22); everything else at its department's fall and spring reports. Status. The Status column is blank until the first update. It is refreshed at each cabinet stepback (November 16, February 11, April 15, June 10) and published for the Board's quarterly review that follows. Filters. Click one or more filters above to narrow the page to that source: the rows that come from it and, within each row, the deliverables that come from it. "Superintendent Goals" shows every row that is a superintendent commitment or carries one, with the commitments themselves listed beneath. "Board focus areas" shows the eleven starred Strategic Plan initiatives and their strategic plan deliverables; add "Superintendent Goals" to see the commitments they carry.
