Open the Google Chrome web browser and go to cpsk12.org.

The first time you log into the CPS Families portal on a computer, you'll see this prompt: Click Setup Recovery to open the Recovery menu option.

Now, select the questions option and use the dropdowns to create three security questions and answers.

Once logged into the Families Portal, you may be prompted at any point to install the Classlink One-Click Extension.

It's completely safe and will open a few applications in our Families Portal that have different login information than what you used to log into the portal.

That extension will throw your different usernames and passwords in behind the scenes when selecting various applications in the families portal, so all you have to remember is the one login to get into the portal.
